Approach:
From Karlsruhe on the B36 direction Landau, exit Linkenheim-Hochstetten. At the entrance turn left, after crossing tram rails to a large chestnut tree. From here the "Baggersee" is signposted.

Description dive spot:
The Streitköpflesee is one of many gravel pit lakes in this area. Diving here is only allowed in the summer and only from the southern side of the lake.
Itself it is a very beautiful lake, but especially on the weekends it is overrun by diving schools with their students. So at the weekend, it can happen that the visibility is not more than half a meter. During the week, especially towards the end of the week, the lake often offers very good visibility.
Near the shore you can with some luck fish and other animals to observe, especially to be named are the large carp and pikes, which can be found are not letting themselves disturbed by divers. Also there are some trees and tree stumps lying in the lake.
