Description dive spot:
The Agincourt Ribbon Reef is a fringing reef chain directly on the continental shelf. From the dive sites you can see the waves that hit the edge of the reef. In addition, the dark and deep water outside the Great Barrier Reef is clearly visible.
The dive site is called "The Point" because there is something lying around on the reef: "The Point". At least that's what they tell the divers.
According to the guides, you have a shark guarantee here. On the pictures you can also see sharks, so at least sometimes there are sharks. We were lucky.
A beautiful rugged reef wall with a sand pit in the depth (25-30 meters). Flat breakthroughs in the reef that can be dived.
Interesting hard corals, lots of small fish, reef sharks.
