Description dive spot:
Of course, only remnants of the Prophète are left over 145 years after their demise. The most impressive is, of course, the huge steam boiler and the well 5 meters diameter flywheel. The wheel is still connected to the axle and the eccentric disc. Despite the long time in salt water, the mechanics are still recognizable. The outer planks are broken and are now scattered around the wreck in the sand. Only the remains of the ribs and parts of the floor covering are still clearly visible.
The small gap between the bottom and the planks offers protection to numerous congers that can often be found here.
